Nikon's D200
is a 10.2 Megapixel digital SLR with build quality and handling aimed at
the serious amateur through to the professional photographer; indeed many
of its features are taken directly from the top-of-the-range D2X. But is
the D200 merely an upgrade for budget DSLR owners, or a genuine professional
workhorse which can hold its own against the D2X?

The D50 is Nikon's
first entry-level digital SLR and features a unique Child Mode, designed
to "take memorable pictures of the little ones". Despite the entry-level
tag though, there's plenty of control and features which will appeal to
enthusiasts. The big question is whether they'll be better served by the
higher-end D70s model?

in a cropped 7 Megapixel mode. |
